In August of 1950, North Korean forces had pushed US and ROK troops back to the southeast corner of Korea. While the two sides had roughly the same number of soldiers, North Korea had over 150 T-34 tanks, while the Allies had to make due with a few poorly armed and armored M-24s. Heavier US M-26s and M-4s were being shipped from the US, but it would take several weeks for these units to arrive at Pusan. North Korea had a few weeks left to win the war, before hundreds of American armored vehicles arrived on the front lines. Consequently, the North Koreans threw everything they had into one final offensive to capture Pusan and stop the flow of Allied men and material into Korea. This game lets you play the UN side in the Battle for the Pusan Perimeter. You must keep the Port of Pusan out of North Korean hands, and then you must go on the offensive and capture Hamch’ang. Note that North Korean forces can move through rough terrain (blue border hexes), and your forces cannot. Good luck.
